Job summary

Managed Health Care Associates, Inc. (MHA) seeks an executive to lead its pharmaceutical trade relations, overseeing portfolios across specialty, biosimilar, and brand contracting.

The role centers on high-stakes negotiations, executive engagement, and strategic partnerships with manufacturers and industry partners. You will drive innovative pricing, rebate, and value-based models, while guiding data-driven decision making and AI-enabled contracting enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree, PharmD, or pharmacy-related advanced degree highly preferred.
• 10–12+ years in pharmaceutical trade relations, specialty contracting, or related healthcare contracting.
• Existing pharmaceutical manufacturer, biopharmaceutical, PSAO, or PBM relationships preferred with executive partnerships.
• Deep fluency in gross-to-net economics, rebates, and contract economics; biosimilar and IRA implications helpful.
• Proven track record leading complex contracting processes across a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for MHA's specialty, brand, biosimilar, and related portfolios.
• Manage high-level relationships with C-suite executives and negotiate contracting opportunities.
• Lead end-to-end negotiations including pricing, terms, and legal review.
• Develop pricing, rebate, and value-based models to drive growth.
• Partner with analytics and IT to modernize contracting workflows and speed to market.
• Present contract performance and opportunities to senior leadership.
