Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. seeks an experienced Vice President of Operations to lead a growing multi-state 3PL network, overseeing warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and value-added services.

The role requires hands-on leadership with Profit & Loss accountability and a strong track record of operational excellence. Reporting to the CEO, you will build high-performing teams, drive standardized processes, and push continuous improvement across locations while ensuring safety and customer

Qualifications

• 10+ years in progressive operations leadership in 3PL/warehousing/distribution or related field.
• 5+ years overseeing multi-site operations through directors or regional leaders.
• Proven experience managing full P&L across multiple facilities.
• Experience launching new facilities or expanding operations.
• Strong knowledge of WMS, labor management, KPIs, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-site warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and logistics across six states.
• Develop and mentor Directors of Operations, Operations Excellence, and Safety.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility with focus on profitability, labor productivity, and efficiency.
• Establish standardized procedures, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives across locations.
• Drive safety, inventory accuracy, customer service, and employee retention improvements.
• Lead new facility startups, customer implementations, and expansions.
• Collaborate with Sales and leadership on growth, pricing, and planning.
• Use WMS, EDI, and reporting to improve visibility and decision making.
• Implement labor management strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
• Build leadership pipeline through coaching and development.
