Job summary

Springfield Memorial Hospital is seeking a dynamic executive leader to shape strategy and drive transformation across clinical, operations, and support services. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health care administration, business administration, or health-related field required.
• FACHE certification preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in hospital or health system operations.
• Experience leading senior-level leaders and multidisciplinary teams preferred.
• Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing operating and capital resources.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Provides executive leadership and strategic direction for assigned clinical, operational, and support services.
• Executive Decision-Making: Serves as a key advisor to the President and CEO and other executive leaders.
• Operational Transformation and Innovation: Leads major initiatives to improve care delivery, patient flow, technology, and workforce models.
• Performance and Accountability: Establishes performance expectations and uses data to guide decisions.
• Financial and Capital Stewardship: Oversees operating and capital plans and ensures responsible financial stewardship.
• Leadership and Talent Development: Builds a high-performing leadership team and develops succession plans.
• System Integration and Collaboration: Partners with physicians and leaders to improve coordination and standardization.
• Physician and Stakeholder Relationships: Maintains relationships with physicians, boards, and community partners.
• Quality, Risk, and Regulatory Oversight: Ensures compliance and risk management across areas.
• Organizational Growth and Sustainability: Identifies programs and partnerships for long-term growth.
