Job summary

Springfield Clinic is seeking a Vice President of Advanced Practice to lead the strategic vision and growth of APPs across the organization. This executive role partners with physician, operational, and executive leadership to optimize APP contributions to patient-centered, value-based care.

Qualifications

• Current certification and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• 7+ years of clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience.
• Experience leading large-scale clinical, operational, or workforce transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise strategy for APPs across the organization.
• Serve as executive sponsor for APP practice, development, and workforce optimization.
• Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities for growth and APP-led care models.
• Lead long-range workforce planning for recruitment, retention, succession, and leadership development.
• Improve patient access, care delivery, quality outcomes, and provider satisfaction.
• Establish system-wide standards for APP practice, utilization, and performance.
• Collaborate with physicians and ops leaders to optimize APP deployment across settings.
• Advance evidence-based practice and care transformation initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs related to APP engagement, quality, access, productivity, and financial performance.
• Lead regulatory and accreditation activities including AAAHC, CMS, and safety programs.
• Chair the APP Advisory Council and provide leadership for strategic projects.
