Job summary

Wake Technical Community College seeks a visionary Vice President & Chief Financial and Business Officer to lead financial and business services across the college and report to the Executive Vice President and COO. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business or CPA licensure, or a related Master's.
• Ten years of progressive finance, accounting, or business services experience in a large org.
• Five years of experience managing large, high-performing teams.
• Executive leadership experience in higher education or nonprofit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise on budget status and procedures with transparent reporting.
• Oversee Financial and Business Services divisions including Accounting, Payroll, Budget, Operations, Risk Management, and EH&S.
• Lead long-range financial forecasting, scenario planning, and ROI analyses.
• Oversee annual EAGLE Internal Control Audit and preparation of financial statements.
• Communicate financial information to the Board and external stakeholders.
• Modernize financial systems and processes for transparency and efficiency.
• Oversee salary increase process and grant budgets review.
