Job summary

Randolph Community College seeks a dynamic Vice President of Operations and Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic leadership across finance, budgeting, facilities, HR, IT, procurement, and risk management. The role reports to the President, guiding fiscal stewardship and operational excellence in support of students and the campus community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration, or a related field.
• At least ten years of progressively responsible supervisory experience across major functions (finance, budgeting, facilities, IT, HR, purchasing, operations).
• Ability to interpret financial information, build budgets/forecasts, lead cross-functional teams, and communicate with governing boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance, budgeting, HR, facilities, purchasing, IT, and operations.
• Advise the President and Board; present options, costs, risks and tradeoffs.
• Oversee annual budget process and multi-year planning.
• Ensure internal controls, audits, compliance, and fiscal stewardship.
• Develop policies for assigned operations.
