Job summary

South Florida State College seeks a visionary Vice President for Administrative Services to serve as the Chief Business Officer, reporting to the President. You will provide executive leadership for business support, financial planning, contracts, and facilities planning.

Serves on the President's Cabinet and collaborates across departments to optimize space, technology, and financial performance. The role oversees accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and major construction projects,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business or related field from an accredited program.
• Minimum of five (5) years of directly related administrative experience, preferably within a public community college.
• Experience working closely with facilities planning/construction issues strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the College's Chief Business Officer with executive leadership for business support, financial planning, contracts, and facilities planning.
• Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, investments, and reporting.
• Supervise construction functions and serve as representative for major projects.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB and regulatory requirements; present financial reports to President and Board.
• Coordinate HR, IT, Finance, Facilities, Safety, and auxiliary operations.
• Advise on legislative and regulatory issues affecting fiscal planning.
