Job summary

Xcel Energy seeks a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to lead protective intelligence for executives and critical operations. You will integrate OSINT, threat intel, behavioral risk assessment, and travel risk to deliver actionable intelligence for informed security decisions.

You will partner with Executive Protection, SOC, Cybersecurity, and external providers to monitor threats, produce reports and briefings, and support protection during travel and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in intelligence studies or related field.
• 5+ years in threat intelligence or protective intelligence related roles.
• Experience with OSINT investigations and threat assessments.
• Experience supporting executive protection operations.
• Strong analytical writing and briefing capabilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intelligence collection, analysis, and threat assessments for executives and events.
• Identify threats from individuals or groups affecting safety and operations.
• Produce executive-focused reports and protective intelligence briefings.
• Support executive travel, venues, and event risk reviews.
• Maintain threat indicators and intelligence databases.
