Job summary

Xcel Energy Inc. seeks a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to lead protective intelligence for executives, boards, and critical operations, integrating OSINT, threat intel, and protective practices to identify and mitigate risks.

You will partner with Executive Protection, SOC, Cyber, and external providers to develop intelligence products, risk assessments, and briefings, and to support executive travel and events with pre-travel reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Security Management, International Relations, Political Science, Cyber Intelligence, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in threat intelligence, protective intelligence, investigations, executive protection intelligence support, or related field.
• Demonstrated OSINT investigations and threat assessments experience.
• Experience supporting executive protection operations or protection of high-profile individuals.
• Strong analytical writing and briefing capabilities.
• Experience with social media intelligence collection and online threat investigations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intelligence collection, analysis, and threat assessments related to executives, board members, high-profile employees, facilities, and events.
• Identify and monitor threats from individuals or groups that may impact executive safety or operations.
• Develop behavioral threat assessment case files and intelligence products.
• Produce executive-focused intelligence reports, risk assessments, and briefings.
• Perform OSINT research across social media, forums, and public records.
• Provide intelligence support for executive travel, events, and protective operations.
• Maintain continuous monitoring of threat feeds and security platforms.
• Assist in post-incident investigations and lessons learned.
