Job summary

Citi seeks a Lead Protective Intelligence Analyst to own executive-focused threat intelligence within Citi Security and Investigative Services. You will lead the Protective Intelligence program's analytical output, covering digital footprint analysis, security threat assessments, and open source intelligence across surface, deep web, and dark web environments.

Based in New York and operating across global teams, you will combine hands-on intelligence production with program leadership to deliver

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of threat intelligence or related security experience.
• Expertise in open source intelligence collection and analysis across social media, deep web, and dark web.
• Experience with threat domains such as APTs, cybercrime, malware, DDoS, fraud, mobile threats, or third-party risk.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to influence outcomes across global, cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production of executive-focused intelligence products and analyses.
• Monitor open sources, deep web, and dark web for executive-relevant threats.
• Apply OSINT techniques to identify vulnerabilities and inform decisions.
• Assess regional threat data and ensure actionable output.
• Analyze threat patterns and present forward-looking assessments to leadership.
• Deliver polished briefings and written intelligence for diverse audiences.
• Mentor analysts and uphold analytical quality and integrity.
• Partner with stakeholders, law enforcement, and external communities.
