Job summary

Aviva Specialty is seeking a highly strategic AVP, Strategic Talent Acquisition Partner to shape Aviva's US specialty platform. You will advise senior leaders, lead executive searches, and build long-term talent pipelines to support rapid growth and organizational transformation.

You will influence workforce strategy, elevate employer branding, and deliver exceptional hiring outcomes across underwriting, actuarial, product, technology, and corporate functions in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience in regulated industries.
• Experience recruiting for executive and leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of insurance sector talent landscape.
• Executive presence and consultative influencing skills.
• Proficiency with Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS tools.
• Advanced certifications (AIRS, SHRM, HRCI) considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Advise senior leaders on talent strategy, workforce planning and succession planning.
• Lead end-to-end searches for specialized, leadership, and executive roles.
• Develop and execute proactive talent mapping and pipelines.
• Elevate employer brand and candidate experience across the recruiting lifecycle.
• Champion DEI initiatives in recruitment and talent strategy.
