Qualifications

• Must have at least 4 years of work experience, including two years in supervising employees, OR a bachelor's degree plus two years supervising.
• Experience with data-driven decision making and budget roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with Texas Government Codes and Administrative Codes is expected.
• Experience in criminal justice agencies and supervising staff is a plus.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Reports to an administrative office and collaborates with division leadership.
• Coordinates services and ensures goals are achieved with other state agencies and divisions.
• Serves as the legislative liaison and works with Task Forces/Advisory Committees.
• Develops schedules and operationalizes priorities and standards of excellence; oversees project and mentor staff as needed.
