Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an Executive Sous Chef in Naples, FL to partner with the Executive Chef in leading daily kitchen operations. This hands-on role emphasizes culinary leadership, team development, food quality, and cost control to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

The candidate will oversee staff training, assist with menu development, manage food costs, and ensure food safety and consistency. Weekend and holiday availability is required for events and busy periods.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of culinary leadership experience in hospitality.
• Experience as Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, staff training, and food quality.
• Assist with menu development, seasonal offerings, and events.
• Manage food costs, purchasing, inventory, and portion control.
• Maintain culinary standards, food safety, and portion execution.
• Collaborate with front-of-house teams for seamless service.
• Lead kitchen operations in the Executive Chef’s absence.
