The Sterling Choice is seeking an Executive Sous Chef in Brisbane, CA to lead a sizeable culinary team and own production, food safety, labor, inventory, suppliers, budgets and menu launches.

Ideal candidates will have five-plus years in high-volume production, strong leadership, HACCP knowledge and proven cost-control improvements; Healthcare benefits, 401(k) eligibility and shift meals are provided.

Qualifications

• Five-plus years in high-volume food production.
• Strong leadership across multiple kitchen functions.
• Excellent HACCP and food-safety knowledge.
• Proven cost control, SOP improvements.
• Experience with menu launches and production planning.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef and lead a sizeable culinary team.
• Take ownership across production, food safety, labor, inventory, suppliers, budgets and menu launches.
• Move between pass, production planning, tastings and cost conversations.
