The ideal candidate brings 2+ years in a high-volume Sous Chef role, strong leadership, and hands‑on experience in hiring and training hourly staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years current experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, full-service or upscale casual concept.
• Ability to maintain high levels of food quality, consistency and hygiene.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Hands‑on with hiring, training and developing hourly employees.
• Proven work ethic and drive to succeed.
• Proficient with financials (P&L, inventory, food/labor cost).

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary personnel and maintain a professional, organized kitchen.
• Ensure excellent food quality and preparation; report to Executive Chef.
• Act as intermediary between front and back of house when needed.
• Assist in selecting, training and coaching culinary staff.
• Support cost control practices and administrative duties to grow the operation.
