Job summary

Executive Sous Chef in South Boston, MA is NOW HIRING. This is your chance to run one of Boston's busiest kitchens, with a $95,000 base salary, bonus, and full benefits.

We’re partnering with a top-volume, chef‑driven hospitality group to find a leader who can deliver flawless execution every shift. You will drive day‑to‑day BOH operations, lead a large culinary team, manage labor and food cost, and partner with the Executive Chef to elevate menu execution and team performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an Executive Sous Chef or senior kitchen leader.
• Scratch kitchen experience is highly preferred.
• Proven success in high-volume, chef-driven, upscale casual, tavern, or hospitality-focused restaurants.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams.
• Deep understanding of food cost, labor management, inventory, and kitchen operations.
• Calm under pressure.
• Relentless about standards.
• Passionate about hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day BOH operations in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
• Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a large culinary team.
• Execute exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation every shift.
• Manage labor, food cost, inventory, ordering, and kitchen systems.
• Maintain speed, organization, and discipline during peak service.
• Recruit, train, and develop future kitchen leaders.
• Partner with the Executive Chef to elevate operations, menu execution, and team performance.
• Ensure the highest standards of sanitation, food safety, and operational excellence.
