Compass Group USA's Levy at Michigan State University's Spartan Stadium is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to execute brand-standard menus, lead a culinary team, and meet guest expectations with cost control and flawless service.

The role requires strong leadership, culinary creativity, and the ability to train and mentor Sous Chefs while maintaining safety, sanitation, and inventory control across events.

Qualifications

• A culinary degree is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, guests and team members.
• Experience building and developing a team.

Responsibilities

• Executes menus in accordance to brand standards.
• Maintains recipes to meet core standards.
• Ensures team delivers heartfelt hospitality to every guest.
• Forecasts and schedules team to meet needs.
• Conducts daily walkthroughs in culinary areas for events.
• Mentors Sous Chefs to improve skills and leadership.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards.
• Drives cost goals and inventory control.
