Job summary

City Winery seeks an Executive Sous Chef to lead culinary operations in a high-end venue environment. You will work alongside the Executive Chef to ensure top-quality food, consistent presentation, and exceptional guest experiences across dining rooms and private events.

You will drive menu development, seasonal specials, and recipes while managing food and labor costs, supplier relations, and SOP adherence in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must have 4–5 years of progressive culinary management experience in high-volume venues or catering.
• Must be fluent in English and able to communicate across teams and departments.
• Strong knowledge of Health Department, OSHA, and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead production, prep, and service in all kitchen areas as the Executive Sous Chef.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, line setup, flow, and quality of output.
• Manage kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and uphold performance expectations.
