Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an Executive Sous Chef for a coastal Narragansett, RI location. This role focuses on leading a culinary team, crafting creative dishes inspired by Coastal European flavors, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

The position requires strong leadership, menu development skills, and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and some holidays in a full-service restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a full-service restaurant.
• Culinary Arts degree preferred but exceptional experience will be considered.
• Flexible availability for days, nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily kitchen operations and coordinate all culinary activities, including private dining
• Monitor prep production and conduct quality checks of mise en place before service
• Oversee food preparation ensuring a high-quality guest experience
• Develop back-of-house staff and support kitchen supervisory roles
• Assist with inventory management, purchasing, and storage logistics
