Job summary

Invited is seeking an Executive Sous Chef at Westlake Country Club in Austin, TX. You will lead the culinary team under the Executive Chef, guiding daily kitchen operations, menu development, and meal production to meet high standards and budget targets.

You will manage staffing, procurement, and cost controls, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and act as a club representative delivering exceptional service to members and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef.
• Health and sanitation card.
• Food service management certification, Serve Safe.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and execution of menus and meal planning/production.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, work areas, and waste management.
• Procure food supplies and kitchen equipment; manage inventory.
• Determine budgetary requirements for food and equipment; ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Lead recruitment, scheduling, and development of kitchen staff.
