Description

We are hiring a Sous Chef!

Responsibilities:

  1. Train all associates in the kitchen on their job duties, including plate presentation, display work, and other areas for growth.
  2. Write schedules, evaluate, and direct all personnel.
  3. Maintain open verbal and written communication between management and associates.
  4. Write and present disciplinary actions as needed.
  5. Provide associates with the tools and equipment necessary for their jobs.
  6. Take immediate action on problems encountered in the kitchen.
  7. Participate in monthly department meetings, weekly staff and kitchen meetings, monthly kitchen inventory, and the MOD program.
  8. Ensure all food served is of high quality, properly prepared according to recipes, and efficiently delivered to all outlets.
  9. Assist in establishing goals, standards, and objectives to enhance the organization’s reputation and profitability.
  10. Supervise the entire kitchen staff in the absence of the Executive Chef, including utility and sanitation associates, providing guidance and support.
  11. Maintain all records such as roast meat charts and recipe cards.
  12. Ensure payroll hours are submitted promptly to the Accounting Department.
