Responsibilities
  • Train all kitchen associates to perform their duties effectively, including plate presentation, display work, and other relevant skills.
  • Write schedules, evaluate, and supervise all personnel.
  • Maintain open verbal and written communication with management and staff.
  • Handle disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Provide associates with necessary tools and equipment.
  • Address and resolve kitchen problems promptly.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, inventory, and the MOD program.
  • Ensure high-quality food preparation and timely service across outlets.
  • Assist in setting goals, standards, and objectives to enhance organization reputation and profitability.
  • Supervise kitchen staff in the absence of the Executive Chef, including utility and sanitation staff.
  • Maintain records such as roast meat charts and recipe cards.
  • Ensure payroll hours are submitted timely.
