Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all mid- and closing kitchen duties, including inventory, ordering, and controlling food and labor costs.
  • Manage BOH shifts, ensuring efficient operations, food prep, and supervision of kitchen teams.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings, conduct line, temp, and cooler checks, and participate in food tastings.
  • Collaborate with GM and managers to review and maintain recipe books.
  • Perform line checks to ensure quality.
  • Order food and supplies daily.
  • Communicate effectively between FOH and BOH regarding food production and timing.
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, training, and developing BOH staff.
  • Promote teamwork and professional conduct.
  • Handle challenges tactfully and courteously.
  • Work various shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, possibly at multiple sites with overnight travel.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as an Executive Sous Chef in a full-service restaurant.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.

Salary Range: USD $60,000 - $90,000 per year.
