Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all kitchen duties during mid and closing shifts, including inventory, ordering, and controlling food and labor costs
  • Manage BOH shifts, ensuring efficient operations, food prep, and supervision of kitchen staff
  • Lead pre-shift meetings, conduct line, temperature, and cooler checks, and oversee food tastings
  • Collaborate with GM and managers to review and update recipe books
  • Perform regular quality checks on menu items
  • Order and purchase food and supplies daily
  • Communicate effectively between FOH and BOH regarding food production and timing
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, training, and developing BOH staff
  • Promote teamwork and positive communication
  • Handle challenges tactfully and courteously
  • Work flexible days and shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and travel as needed
  • Lift and move items up to 50 pounds as required

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as an Executive Sous Chef in a full-service restaurant
  • Proven leadership and management skills in a kitchen environment

Salary Range: USD $60,000 - $90,000 per year
