Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee kitchen duties, inventory, ordering, and control of food and labor costs
  • Manage BOH shifts, ensuring efficient operations, food prep, and supervision of kitchen staff
  • Lead pre-shift meetings, conduct line checks, and tastings
  • Collaborate with GM and managers to review recipes and maintain standards
  • Perform regular quality checks on menu items
  • Order food and supplies daily
  • Communicate effectively between FOH and BOH regarding food production and timing
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and developing BOH employees
  • Promote teamwork and positive communication
  • Handle challenges with tact and courtesy
  • Work varied shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and travel as needed
  • Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as an Executive Sous Chef in a full-service restaurant
  • Proven leadership and management skills

Salary Range: USD $60,000 - USD $90,000 per year.
