A leading culinary establishment in Nashville seeks a Sous Chef to ensure high-quality food production and oversee kitchen staff. The role requires maintaining safety and hygiene standards while fostering a positive team environment. You'll work closely with culinary leadership and ensure the freshest products are served to guests.
This position is responsible for the execution of high-quality food production in accordance with kitchen standards set forth by our Culinary Team. The Sous Chef is also responsible for overseeing kitchen staff in the preparation of food, while meeting required safety, hygiene, and quality standards. You will work closely with store culinary leadership, providing leadership and support to all kitchen staff as needed. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: maintaining positive relationships with vendors, placing orders, generating purchase orders, ensuring par levels are up to date, monitoring material consumption, overseeing daily production and inventory, and training and developing team members in line with Heirloom core values and company standards. It is your responsibility to ensure we always serve the freshest, most desirable products to our guests.
