Anthropic is seeking a Personal Security Program Manager to support GSIS functions in San Francisco. The role interfaces with Corporate Security and requires program discipline, policy execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
You’ll work within a defined framework, execute plans, and surface issues for timely decisions. You will be involved in maintaining policy libraries, supporting metrics and reporting, and building out capabilities with clear direction from leadership.
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
We’re looking for a personal security program manager to support a fast-growing GSIS (Global Safety, Intelligence & Security) function. Reporting to the Protective Service Senior Manager, and working within the broader direction the Protective Services Lead sets, this role sits at the intersection of corporate security fundamentals and program management execution. You’ll execute a defined slice of the policies, processes, and reporting that let the function scale, working within scope your manager sets rather than defining that scope yourself, and you’ll support cross-functional projects of low to moderate complexity.
This is not a purely administrative role. You’ll need enough security domain grounding to work credibly alongside experienced practitioners, enough program discipline to execute reliably against a defined plan, and enough judgment to know when to flag something up rather than push forward on your own. Most of what you touch will already have a framework your manager has set; your job is to execute cleanly within it and surface what needs a decision above your level.
