Heidrick & Struggles in New York seeks an Executive Search Associate to execute recruiting lifecycle activities, from candidate identification to placement, under the guidance of Consultants and Principals. You will assist in search strategy, candidate assessment, and client development while learning through collaboration and mentorship.

The role emphasizes research, writing, and strong communication with clients and candidates, within an apprenticeship-like development path and a global team

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of professional recruiting experience or 2 years in Executive Search.
• Undergraduate BA/BS degree required.
• Strong professional communications, writing, and presenting skills.
• Ability to collaborate with external clients and candidates, and build relationships.
• Experience in full life cycle recruiting preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM.

Responsibilities

• Research & Writing: Conduct industry and client research; map the executive talent landscape; support search strategy development.
• Internal and External Communication: Contact candidates; assist with interview process; manage candidate relationships end-to-end.

• Ethics & Quality: Maintain data accuracy; deliver high-quality reports; manage multiple projects with professionalism.
