Job summary

You will lead a team, recruit and train staff, coordinate with other departments to ensure service excellence, stay current on regulations, and drive budget and performance against targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mortgage origination.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a mortgage branch office.
• NMLS license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide input, objectives, strategies and sales goals for the Retail Mortgage channel.
• Lead and direct sales and business development of Mortgage Loan Officers to meet loan volume goals.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop Retail Mortgage team members.
• Partner with other departments to ensure excellent customer service for Retail Mortgage customers.
• Stay abreast of new government regulations and policy changes.
• Oversee budget submission and annual performance vs. budget for Retail Mortgage.
• Handle escalated retail mortgage customer issues.
