Bass Pro Shops is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily store operations and merchandising to drive financial performance. You will supervise senior store leaders, open/close the store, and ensure a service-oriented staff that delivers a world-class shopping experience.

The role requires 5+ years in high-volume retail management with multi-store experience, strong analytical and people skills, and the ability to implement corporate merchandising directives while promoting customer programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in high-volume retail management with multi-store experience.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise multiple store managers and drive day-to-day operations.
• Open and close the store; ensure staffing with service-oriented associates.
• Coach and motivate staff; manage performance, interviews, and training.
• Implement merchandising directives and marketing strategies on the floor.
• Meet or exceed financial plans; monitor cash management and store assets.
• Provide a legendary customer experience and promote programs (CLUB, VOC, in-store pickup).
• Ensure a safe, organized store environment and address customer issues.
