Job summary

American Credit Acceptance, LLC is seeking an Executive Recruiter to identify and attract high-impact leadership talent across the organization. You’ll lead complex searches for Director level and above, advise senior leaders on hiring decisions, and build proactive leadership pipelines aligned with ACA’s priorities.

You’ll deliver market intelligence on talent trends, compensation, and leadership pools, and manage confidential executive-level engagements with high-touch candidate experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 7+ years of progressive corporate recruiting and/or executive search experience in complex markets
• 3+ years leading full-cycle executive searches
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior executives and influence decisions
• Experience with executive sourcing, market mapping and passive talent engagement
• Experience negotiating complex compensation for executives
• Strong communication, executive presence and stakeholder management

American Credit Acceptance (ACA) is looking for an Executive Recruiter to identify and attract high-impact leadership talent across the organization.

You’ll lead complex searches primarily at the Director level and above, advise senior leaders on critical hiring decisions, and use market intelligence and proactive talent engagement to build strong leadership pipelines aligned with ACA’s business priorities.

What You’ll Do

• Lead complex searches across corporate functions, primarily for Director-level and above positions, from search strategy through offer and close.
• Advise senior leaders and HR partners on talent markets, search strategy, candidate assessment, and leadership hiring decisions.
• Build proactive leadership pipelines through executive sourcing, talent mapping, organizational research, and engagement with passive talent.
• Deliver market intelligence and insights on talent trends, competitor movement, compensation, and leadership talent pools to inform hiring strategies.
• Assess and engage executive talent, building trusted relationships while delivering a high-touch, confidential candidate experience.
• Lead offer strategy and negotiations, navigating complex compensation discussions and executive-level hiring considerations.
• Elevate recruiting practices by improving search methodology, assessment, market engagement, and the use of recruiting data and technology.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of progressive corporate recruiting and/or executive search experience in complex, competitive talent markets.
• 3+ years of experience leading full-cycle executive or senior leadership searches from intake through hire.
• Demonstrated success partnering with senior executives and influencing Director-level and above hiring decisions.
• Strong experience with executive sourcing, market mapping, passive talent engagement, and leadership assessment.
• Experience navigating complex compensation negotiations and sensitive executive-level hiring discussions.
• Exceptional communication, executive presence, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple complex searches using an ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing and recruiting tools.
• Experience providing guidance, coaching, or direction to recruiting team members supporting executive searches.

Executive search firm and/or financial services experience is a plus.

This position is an on-site position, based in our Spartanburg, SC headquarters.
