LHH is seeking an Executive Recruiter to join the team serving the Washington DC-Northern Virginia area. This role blends full-cycle recruiting with client engagement, focusing on direct hire placements, in a hybrid/remote blend.

The candidate will build pipelines, screen candidates, negotiate fees, and stay current on Accounting & Finance industry trends. We value strong communication, relationship-building, and a client-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years recruiting mid- to senior-level professionals or relevant industry experience.
• Previous sales experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Client-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and service.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
• Ability to build and maintain professional networks and industry relationships.
• Demonstrated business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong understanding of KPIs.
• Competitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle recruiting for mid- to senior-level positions.
• Partner with clients to define hiring needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Conduct resume screening, behavioral interviews, and competency-based evaluations.
• Negotiate fee agreements and manage placement documentation.
• Maintain subject matter expertise on Accounting & Finance industry trends, roles, and talent needs.
• Administer job postings and track candidate data in internal systems.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both active and passive candidates.
• Participate in client site visits to better understand organizational goals and culture.
• Ensure compliance with hiring and onboarding processes.
• Mentor and support junior team members as needed.

Base salary of $50K+ - $75k depending on years of experience, plus uncapped commission, a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, paid holidays and much more!
