Job summary

New Jersey Community Capital (NJCC) seeks a Managing Director of Real Estate to lead CAPC, the organization’s real estate affiliate. You will oversee all real estate activities and social enterprises, including asset management, development, property management, and construction loan administration, while guiding capital strategy and partnerships.

You will collaborate with NJCC’s President & CEO to advance mission-aligned investments, ensure compliance, and drive affordable housing outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, master’s degree in real estate, urban planning, public administration or a related field, or a law degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the CAPC real estate team, including Property Management and Construction Management staff.
• Develop CAPC’s annual business plan, multi-year strategy, and operating and development budgets.
• Oversee acquisition, development and disposition of properties and mortgage portfolios.
• Direct site selection, underwriting, pro forma development and financial structuring for development and rehabilitation.
• Oversee asset management and performance metrics for CAPC portfolio.
