Altec in Birmingham, AL, seeks an Executive Project Specialist to support the Marketing and Sales Executive Team. You will coordinate and execute a variety of projects, manage competing priorities, and provide high-level administrative support to leaders.

The role requires strong organization, proactive problem solving, and the ability to collaborate across teams. Bachelor’s degree preferred and four years of executive assistant experience.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years executive assistant experience required.
• Proven ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills internally and externally.
• High standard of ethics and honesty.
• Project management skill.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee projects across the Marketing and Sales organization, including internal and external events, process improvement initiatives, customer meetings, and budget-related activities.
• Work independently within established procedures, proactively identifying needs, resolving issues, and advancing projects with minimal supervision.
• Manage multiple assignments, shifting priorities, and changing business needs while consistently meeting deadlines and commitments.
• Collaborate across Marketing Communications, Sales Operations, Outside Sales, company leadership, and other functions to build strong working relationships and support shared objectives.
• Provide high-level administrative and project support that enables leaders to use their time effectively and engage productively with associates and stakeholders.
• Manage executive support activities and confidential information with discretion, sound judgment, and close attention to detail.
• Develop and apply knowledge of the company’s sales and marketing processes, procedures, and organizational structure to support management activities.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new processes, tools, and responsibilities.
