Job description

Are you a highly organized, sharp-minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment? Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop, the fastest-growing national candy and soda distributor with 19 vibrant retail locations across the U.S., is looking for an Executive Personal Assistant to support our Founder and CEO.

This isn't your average assistant role - we're looking for a proactive partner who can keep up with a driven executive, help move projects across the finish line, and provide the structure needed to keep things moving smoothly behind the scenes.

The Role :

As the Executive Personal Assistant, you'll serve as a key support partner to our CEO, helping manage communication, streamline operations, and keep high-priority projects on track. You'll also collaborate closely with members of the C-Suite to ensure top initiatives move forward across departments.

Why Join Us :
  • Opportunity for Growth: We're not just expanding our business; we're growing our team. As we expand, there are opportunities for advancement and professional development. Your hard work won't go unnoticed here.
  • Make Your Mark: Your work matters. Every idea, every interaction, and every effort contribute to our success. You'll have the chance to learn, collaborate, and see the direct impact of your contributions.
  • Be Part of a Thriving Team: Our team is supportive, collaborative, and passionate about what we do.
  • Community Involvement: We love being part of each neighborhood we're located in. You're not just joining a company; you're joining a community.
Responsibilities :
  • Manage the CEO's inbox (200+ emails/day) with discretion, prioritization, and follow-up.
  • Help keep projects on track: monitor progress, follow up with team members, and help drive deliverables.
  • Be a confident communicator—able to speak up when deadlines slip and offer solutions for recurring challenges.
  • Act as a gatekeeper and trusted confidant with access to sensitive HR and business information.
  • Work closely with our C-Suite team (Sales, Marketing, Retail, Finance, Operations, and Admin) to ensure alignment on top initiatives.
  • Lead or assist in team communications and task management as needed.
  • Bring strong organizational skills to balance the CEO's fast-moving, idea-driven leadership style.
  • Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and organization.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Job Requirements :
  • Prior experience in executive support or project management (PMP a plus).
  • High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • Comfortable taking initiative and making decisions on recurring tasks or priorities.
  • A natural organizer who enjoys keeping others on track and accountable.
  • Ability to lead small teams and interface with all levels of the organization.
What You'll Get :
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, based in our National Operations, Support & Distribution Center in Robinson Township, PA.
  • Flexible hybrid schedule available after onboarding and training.
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding company.
