Occasions Caterers Inc in Washington, DC, seeks a Director of Catering Sales to lead high-level catering initiatives. The role offers a $140,000 to $160,000 salary, bonus eligibility, and a path to drive growth in diverse events.

You will partner with culinary and operations teams to deliver exceptional experiences for clients. The position requires culinary leadership, strong client service, and the ability to manage complex events from concept to completion within a premium hospitality

Qualifications

• Experience baking detailed and avant garde pastries.
• Must follow recipes from detailed specifications.
• Able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Ability to train others as required.
• ServSafe certification preferred (or able to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Constantly create and produce new and innovative baked goods, pastries, cakes, tortes, breads, and desserts.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of seasonal menus.
• Produce and follow-up on all pastry production.
• Manage inventory and par-levels; communicate purchasing needs.
• Execute recipes, menus, and specifications per company standards.
• Deliver quality food to every guest, every time.
