Occasions Caterers Inc. is seeking a Director of Catering Sales to lead the culinary and catering teams under the Executive Chef.

This leadership role focuses on delivering high-quality, creative culinary experiences for events while managing costs and staff development. The position requires extensive culinary experience with management responsibility, strong leadership, and proficiency in kitchen operations, safety, and cost controls.

Qualifications

• 8 years of culinary experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Strong leadership to achieve goals with high standards for quality and presentation
• Experience overseeing kitchen operations and banquet/catering functions
• Ability to manage food purchasing, food cost controls and creative execution
• Commitment to safety, sanitation and training of staff
• Knowledge of modern culinary trends and new product presentations

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates the culinary team and kitchen staff
• Oversees restaurant operations and supports banquet/catering functions
• Acts as technical expert, trainer for operation and culinary team
• Coordinates food purchasing and cost controls; identifies solutions
• Maintains high quality, consistency and creativity while maximizing resources
• Demonstrates innovation and culinary talent
