Job summary

Eatzi's is a European style eatery seeking a talented pastry chef to direct a fast-paced, high-volume production kitchen in Dallas. You will oversee pastry production, hire and coach team members, create schedules, and maintain quality and safety standards.

Qualifications include 5+ years in baking, 2 years of technical training, strong interpersonal skills, and experience managing labor and food costs. The role offers excellent full-time benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in all phases of baking in high-volume pastry production.
• Two years technical school or certified apprenticeship preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in managing labor and food cost.
• Ability to create innovative desserts from scratch for high-volume production.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production of all pastry goods for the market, including cookies, brownies, breads, cakes, puddings, pastries, and desserts from scratch.
• Hire, coach and evaluate pastry team members to meet service and performance standards.

• Establish and maintain quality and food production controls.
