Job summary

Proximity Works is seeking a Chief of Staff & Executive Business Partner to act as a force multiplier for the CEO. You will manage the CEO’s calendar, prepare briefing materials, and own high-priority projects that shape strategy and execution.

You’ll lead board communications, investor updates, and internal decks while representing the CEO in external conversations with CTOs, CEOs, and partners. This is a launchpad into future leadership at Proximity, with a mix of hands-on delivery and

Qualifications

7–12 years blended experience in management consulting, business ops, or leadership roles in tech/media/sports.
Exceptional communicator capable of drafting board-ready updates and representing the CEO.
Operational powerhouse delivering structure, efficiency, and accountability in fast-moving environments.
Tech-forward mindset with familiarity in AI/no-code tools.
Highly trustworthy and discreet; handles sensitive information.
Action-oriented with ownership of results.
Bonus: ex-founder or startup/operator with OTT/sports/media network.

Responsibilities

Own the CEO’s calendar, travel, inbox, and daily prioritization to protect focus and eliminate friction.
Prepare high-quality briefing docs, agendas, meeting notes, and timely follow-ups for internal and external meetings.
Draft, refine, and manage board communications, investor updates, client emails, and internal decks.
Join or represent the CEO in high-stakes external conversations with CTOs, CEOs, and investors to maintain momentum.
Run OKRs and internal systems that keep initiatives moving cross-functionally.
Identify inefficiencies and implement no-code/AI automation to streamline workflows.
Support the CEO’s business development by researching key players and tracking top 50 external stakeholders.
Coordinate conference participation and prep for keynotes and panels, maintaining industry engagement.
Maintain dashboards tracking sales pipeline, operational health, and talent OKRs; surface insights.
