Job summary

The New York City Police Department is seeking an Administrative Staff Analyst, M-V, within the Office of Deputy Commissioner, Management and Budget. The role focuses on developing financial strategy, coordinating budgets over multi‑billion dollar operations, and overseeing procurement, contracts, real estate, and facilities management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with relevant budget/financial administration experience.
• Bachelor's degree with four years of professional experience in budgeting, accounting, finance or related areas.
• 18 months in executive/managerial/supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Support the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Management and Budget in implementing strategic priorities.
• Assist with coordination, accountability, and operational performance of each command.
• Provide centralized executive oversight to help mitigate delayed decision‑making.
