Job summary

The New York City Police Department seeks an experienced Deputy Director of Financial Operations in its Information Technology Bureau, Fiscal Affairs Division. You will oversee accounts payable, manage a team, and drive process improvements to support critical public safety projects.

Responsibilities include budgeting alignment, reporting, and partnerships with vendors and leadership. A strong background in finance and city-wide procurement is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or bachelor's with extensive experience in budget/financial administration.
• Experience supervising staff performing professional work in budgeting/finance.
• Knowledge of procurement rules and city directives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations for contract payments per directives.
• Manage a team with mentorship and training.
• Drive process improvements and PASSPort transition.
• Conduct monthly and year-end closings and oversee reconciliations.
