Job summary

New York City Police Department in New York, NY is seeking an Administrative Staff Analyst to lead Fiscal Affairs operations, including budgets, procurement, and financial controls. The role supports enterprise technology investments and capital planning with governance, reporting, and risk management.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in budget development, grant opportunities, and vendor management within a large public agency and will report to the CIO’s Deputy.

Qualifications

• A master's or bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in public finance, budgeting or procurement.
• Experience managing budgets, capital projects, and vendor contracts within a large organization.
• Knowledge of government procurement regulations, financial controls, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for all Fiscal Affairs operations including budgets and procurement.
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets; negotiate funding requests.
• Advise CIO on financial risk and procurement strategy; manage vendor negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with procurement laws and financial regulations across city agencies.
