The Maine Council on Aging (MCOA) is seeking a 32-hour/week Executive & Operations Assistant to provide primary administrative support to the Executive Director; assist the Operations Director with membership, database, and office tasks; and provide logistical and technical support for meetings and events.
Responsibilities include managing the Executive Director’s calendar and meeting logistics; supporting Board and committee meetings; maintaining organizational records and systems, membership administration, and digital files; assisting with program materials and general office needs; coordinating meetings, retreats, and events; and providing technical support for Zoom meetings and webinars.
The successful candidate will have 2–4 years of experience directly supporting an Executive Director, CEO, or senior executive; excellent organizational, communication, and technology skills; strong attention to detail; and the ability to anticipate needs, manage multiple priorities, and work independently. Candidates should be comfortable with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Zoom, and database management. Experience with Board support and event logistics is a plus.

This is a remote position with flexibility in work schedules, but regular in-person attendance is required for events, staff retreats, and occasional work at our Brunswick office. Candidates must live in Maine. Starting salary: $20–$22/hour, depending on experience, plus benefits.The ideal candidate is available to start work in November.
