The Maine Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MECASA) is hiring an Operations and Training Coordinator to join our collaborative, thoughtful, and mission-driven team.
This role plays a key part in keeping MECASA's day-to-day operations and statewide training work organized, responsive, and moving forward. The Operations and Training Coordinator helps connect people, systems, logistics, and information across the organization so staff can focus on their program work and member programs and partners can participate in well-coordinated training and learning opportunities.
The Operations and Training Coordinator has primary responsibility for supporting office operations and shared organizational systems, while also coordinating the logistics and systems that support MECASA trainings, webinars, and events. The work is a mix of organization, problem-solving, follow-through, technology support, event logistics, and practical day-to-day support for staff and training facilitators.
This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys making systems work, keeping track of details, supporting other people, and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. Because many of the position's responsibilities are tied to the day-to-day functioning of the office, this position is expected to work from the MECASA office most days of the week.

MECASA represents and serves Maine's local sexual assault support centers and children's advocacy centers, and provides training, technical assistance, funding, and leadership to strengthen sexual violence prevention and response across the state. Accountable to the Support and Sustainability Director
Our organization is committed to work/life balance and supporting the individuals with whom we work. The position's starting salary range is $50k-$57k, depending on relevant experience, skills, and expertise; the full salary range for this position is $50k-$68k. These salary ranges are based on a 40 hour position. This is designed as a 30-40 hour, non-exempt position. MECASA offers paid holidays, vacation, sick time, retirement benefits, a flexible schedule, partial coverage of individual health insurance premiums, and generous paid family medical leave.
