Qualifications

• Master's degree in business, health care administration, or related field with five to seven years of progressively responsible experience required.
• Prior academic medical center experience preferred; complex health care setting experience required.
• Knowledge of hospital and university finance and administration; Maryland reimbursement system knowledge.
• Knowledge of administering a physician practice plan; knowledge of managed care.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key administrative leader for the Department of Neurology to drive growth, innovation, and transformation initiatives.
• Lead administrative, operational, and business functions including budgets, contracts, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Chairs and leadership to achieve clinical, research, and education goals.
• Oversee affiliate negotiations, discretionary accounts, cost centers, and strategic priorities.
