Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks an Executive Meeting Manager who will drive revenue by selling and servicing events. The role involves soliciting new accounts, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with hotel teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction during events.

The EMM reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing and collaborates across departments to optimize function space, F&B, AV, and room revenues while meeting revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Hotel, Westmont and brand policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of catering, food & beverage with banquet knowledge.
• Skills to manage people and variables in major functions.
• Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and hotel sales system.
• Delphi or other system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solicit new and maintain existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals.
• Prepare and initiate Banquet Event Orders with client specifications and banquet department.
• Participate in daily/weekly sales meetings and other meetings as directed.
• Coordinate with Revenue Manager to determine room availability and rates.
• Develop knowledge of market trends, competition, and customers.
• Implement revenue/yield management strategies to optimize space and pricing.
• Consult with customers to plan event details and schedules.
• Meet with customers during events to ensure proper delivery of hotel services.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team annual goals as per Marketing Plan.
