Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Managing Director to lead and expand its Financial Advisory Services within the Office of the CFO Accounting Advisory practice. The role focuses on advising clients on complex technical accounting matters, financial instruments, digital assets, and fintech, with deep expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory frameworks.

You will build trusted CFO-level relationships and guide engagements end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred; CFA or other certifications a plus.
• 15+ years of experience in financial services or technical accounting advisory.
• Big 4 or top-tier consulting background.
• Deep expertise in financial instruments and standards (ASC/IFRS).

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand the FAS advisory practice for the Office of the CFO.
• Advise on ASC 810, ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 805, ASC 350/360, ASC 718, ASC 815, IFRS 9.
• Drive client relationships with CFOs, Controllers, and Audit Committees.
• Manage complex engagements and develop go-to-market strategies.
• Mentor teams and collaborate with tax, risk, valuation, and technology.
