Job summary

Montage Laguna Beach seeks a Hotel Manager with extensive luxury hospitality leadership to oversee Food & Beverage, Rooms, Spa and Engineering. The role requires creating and implementing critical operation paths, budgets, and training manuals with a focus on high-end service standards.

The candidate will lead senior teams, maintain guest satisfaction, and drive profitability while adhering to Montage policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of management experience in high-end restaurant or hotel.
• Minimum 10 years as a department head or senior leadership position at an ultra-luxury operation.
• At least five years experience in an executive level food & beverage and multi-unit position.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Requires strong communication skills and budgeting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and develop key leadership personnel; oversee divisions in line with policy and civil rights laws.
• Engage guests and promote hotel facilities; coordinate with departments to meet service needs.
• Monitor staff performance; ensure adherence to department standards and improve deficiencies.
• Inspect operations to ensure cleanliness and order; direct corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain profitability by controlling payroll, costs, inventory, and cost-saving measures.
• Provide support to the Executive Committee on specialized matters.
