Job description

Job Title: Legal Executive Assistant - Corporate

Salary Range: $75,000 - $96,000 per year

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid Schedule)

Work Schedule: In-office for the first 90 days (5 days per week), then hybrid (3 days per week in-office)

About The Firm: Trustpoint.one is assisting a Major Am Law firm in their search for a skilled Legal Executive Assistant - Corporate (LEA). This position supports a member of firm management, proactively managing the day-to-day functions of a partner’s practice, ensuring they can focus on building and maintaining their practice. This role serves as a trusted partner to the partner, connecting departments, projects, and critical business information, ensuring meetings and materials are efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete and manage a wide range of tasks to support the partner’s practice.
  • Exercise judgment in delegating tasks to Legal Support Services team members while maintaining oversight.
  • Positively impact the financial success of the partner’s client matters.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Manage the partner’s Outlook calendar, resolve scheduling conflicts, and coordinate complex travel itineraries.
  • Keep the partner informed of upcoming commitments, prepare materials, and follow up as necessary.
  • Draft correspondence, prepare reports, and complete other tasks to support the partner.
  • Engage with clients and outside business contacts directly.
  • Prepare agendas, reports, presentations, and confidential correspondence.
  • Foster collaboration and maintain professional relationships within teams.
  • Lead and organize department or practice group meetings, ensuring logistics are handled effectively.
  • Support practice group and client team meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute materials.
  • Maintain paper and electronic filing systems, ensuring compliance with firm policies.
  • Manage billing matters, including prebilling tasks, client budget monitoring, and liaising with billing teams.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional executive administrative experience supporting partners and/or executives.
