Reports To: Vice President of Legal Affairs
Location: Remote
Duration: Temporary (anticipated 3 months)
Hourly: $30-35/hr

Position Summary:
The Community Solution Education System’s Legal Affairs team is seeking a highly organized and adaptable Temporary Legal Assistant to provide operational support during a period of transition. This role will help ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the department while the team recruits for a permanent paralegal.
The Temporary Legal Assistant will manage multiple shared email inboxes, process legal invoices, manage the compliance calendar, assist with calendar coordination, and assist with file organization and data migration support meeting logistics. The role will also provide general administrative assistance and help the team onboard a new legal matter management system.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor and manage multiple department email inboxes and ensure timely responses or routing to the appropriate team members
· Assist with coordination and management of document productions
· Process legal invoices in coordination with internal systems and finance team
· Manage the compliance calendar, including tracking deadlines and assisting with timely completion of required filings and deliverables
· Prepare meeting agendas, take and distribute meeting notes, and support scheduling for the Legal Affairs team
· Provide administrative support, including document formatting, tracking deadlines, maintaining internal process checklists, and scheduling meetings
Compensation:
$30/hr to $35/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
